I just got a new eMachines EL1210-09 with an Agere Systems PCI-SV92EX Soft Modem about three weeks ago. Eberything worked great until one morning went to the internet tab for my ISP and got the “No Dial Tone” message. Am using MS Vista Home Prem. Diagnostics says everything working OK but no dial tone. Made no changes to setup. Line works great on phone or my backup comp. (compaq presario with Win98se). Any body have any ideas how to deal with this problem?
