I moved over the weekend and my computer started having problems and now I have no display at all. It spontaneously shut down a couple of times…and I got some kind of fatal error at one point.
I was able to get the display to work 3 times, and twice it stopped working (1) when I unplugged my internet connection and (2) when I plugged in the USB for my printer. After the printer, I got vertical bars accross my screen and now it will not come on again despite repeated tries.
I have a 2nd video card installed but always had issues getting it to recognize it, so I would frequently have to switch the monitor cable between the two ports depending on which card was recognized at the time. Anyway, that one isn’t working either.
Any ideas where I might begin? I can’t get the display in front of me to even troubleshoot anything!
