No HOME LAN

I just installed windows XP Home on one of my 3 systems. I have a NETGEAR FS105 as a hub with one system running W98SE, one WINME, and of course one now with XP Home. I cannot get the XP machine to network. I have a cable modem and all 3 do connect to the Internet. The other 2 machines will access the XP machine but the XP does not. Also no matter which printer I connect to the XP machine, it will not be recognized. I have spent over 2 hours with Microsoft and still have no answers (they were supposed to call me back but that was 10 days ago.). If I don’t find out soon, I will just go back to WINME on this machine (IT did work with ME). And the XP said all the components would work with it.
