Computer worked fine 2 days ago then turned it on and it stopped at the compaq logo. down at bottom left of screen gave choice of boot order or f10. per Hp tecj have reseated memory, re-seated harddrive, drained battery and set bios to default. When i do a hard drive test in bios is says ide device not detected. Tecj person said to send puter in for them to check. said will cost 298.00. Economy sad don’t have that kind of money. Any other help? Running windows vista. Cam with ie but upgrated to vista a year ago- working fine since untill 12 nights ago. If let it sit at logo icon it finally goes to blank screen with blinking curser in upper left but won’t go any further. PLease, PLease help
