NO JET DIRECT CARDS QUESTION

By tommymcbrayer ·
All of our network printers are attached directly to a workstation and are acccessed via NDPS for network printing. No jet direct cards. My question is simple. Does this type of setup contribute to an excessive amount of broadcast traffic? If so can you tell me why or point me in the right direction for an explanation?

Novell's NDPS was actually designed with reducing network traffic in mind. It was a collaboration between Novell and others like HP, Lexmark(IBM), etc. It is a very economical and efficient way to network printers in a small environment. Refer to: www.novell.com/products/ndps/details.html
Hope this helps.
