No Logon Screen????

I have recently came across a problem when booting into win XP i am always prompted with the options of boot windoes normally ect however even when i do this or use the use last good know config...xp boots and loads however when i get to the login screen no login usernames are there ect...i have used Ctrl Alt Del however this still givesme no options...any suggestions?

Try booting into safe mode and doing a system restore (if you have it enabled). If that doesn't work do an inplace upgrade. See this link:

Nope mate tr4ie this jut got so annoyed i decided to re format.want much important data loss anyways it was just pics...would love to have known a way to sort this for futur reference..

Do you have more then one video output? If so try viewing a differant video output, the primary video output may have been changed and the logon screen may be there.

changing the video output doesn't work either, i've tried it, any other solutions because i'm having the same problem.
