I have a Windows 2000 laptop that I recently set up for a user – we are in the process of changing all the users from one domain from the other.
1) This user logs in fine under the old domain.
2) If he tries to log in under the new domain, the computer complains “Cannot log in – netlogin service not running.”
3) If any OTHER user logs into the new domain on this computer, even immediately after the first user, it works fine.
4) I have deleted all of this user’s profiles from the machine, tono avail.
Any ideas what could be causing this prejudice against this one user?
