No operation System

Think my hard disk was bad so I switch with another one now I get no operation system and said can’t read A drive but the A drive good it was just working the start show my floopy is istalled when I put win 98 in to installed the message was can’tread A drive Help I ready to pull all my hair out Thanks BJ
