This morning I walked in to our IT room and found the Win2K Server with no desktop display. (in other words just a screen with the mouse arrow on it) no task bar, no icons, nothing. I pressed the reset button the server starts normally Win2K server loads normally, network settings and security setting are applied as normal. The log on screen pops up, I entered administrator and our password and the enter key. But after that all we get is a blank screen with the mouse arrow. The server is operating. Active directory, DNS are all active. But there is no GUI Desktop.
Please Help. Is there anything we can do To make the system operational?
