no security window

when i press CTRL+ALT+DELETE keys to lock my pc,i do not get security window instead it opens task manager windows.i am running XP pro.
how do get back security window to open up and give me option to lock.shutdown.cancel ect.

in windows xp there is no security tab as in window 2000

CTRL+ALT+DELETE is not to lock your PC. In Windows (98->XP) CTRL+ALT+DELETE is to open the Task Manager, where you could kill or stop applications and/or processes.

To lock your computer you have to define a passwords for each account or disable the other accounts (as an Administrator).

Also you could use a password protected screen saver.

Open User Accounts in Control Panel
Click the Advanced Tab
Check the Box "Require users to press CTRL+ALT+Delete"
Click OK

Alternatively you can type WINKEY+L to lock the computer.
