No Shutdown option in TS

By shizmoney ·
Hi
I just started to administrat a small network for a company and one of the first problems I'm having is that when I hit the start,shut-down option the Windows shut down screen doesn't have a option to shut down. I looked at the policies and that seems fine. I can't think of anything else, please help.

I beleive this should fix it. Go to the regedit and
HKLM\software\microsoft\windowsNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\cscdll\
make sure that there is a value named Shutdown and a REG_SZ of WinlogonShutdownEvent

I beleive this fhould fix the problem.

If you go to the TS terminal and do Ctrl-Alt-Del you should get the option to shut-down. This is a security feture to prevent TS users from shutting down the server at their terminals.
