no signal input

by gazz_stevens . Updated 16 years, 11 months ago

i updated windows xp and on re-boot i got a no signal input message.xp starts to load but ends on a blank screen.i have no graphics card installed and i’ve checked all connections of monitor etc.i can’t even start windows in safe mode.i figure it’s an update that has wrecked things so i was wondering that if i try to re-install xp will this fix the problem or am i wasting my time.is there another way i can atleast get windows running so that i can nut-out the problem from there,i’ve also heard that by removing the pc battery will reset the bios and that this may help, any ideas on this method and what if i don’t have a battery to remove….any suggestions would be greatly appreciated…thanks ,Gary
