Ok I changed the Soundcard in this computer, and I can’t get it to work. I loaded the drivers,restarted, windows found it, loaded the drivers, and went into windows. But no sound, no yellow speaker, nothing. Device manager says device present and working porperly, so I went to Cntrl panel>multimedia> and it’s not listed, but under the devices tab it is, and says it’s working properly. I have had this card in here before working. I even uninstalled it ,and moved it to another slot, same thing. Ienabled onboard sound, and it does the same thing. I don’t understand why it doesn’t work. Any ideas?

I even downloaded the latest drivers with no help. I have DX 8 installed, and running dxdiag I get the following

testing direct sound I get no drivers loaded for sound device errors, but device mangler says that it’s working properly
