don’t know exactly what happened. however there is no sound coming out of the speakers, speakers are plugged.
you can hear a ding on the internal computer speaker but that is all, no music.
in the control panel/sound icon everything is grayed out.
i am logged in as adminstrator so i would think i would be able to make changes.
in the control panel/sound and audio/volume tab , it says no audio devices,
the sound tab- everything is grayed out.
what could be wrong.
can not do system restore, it was not setup.
in device manager under sound, video and game controllers, there is one yellow ! and that is for c-media AC97 audio device, however, there is a legacy audio drive that does NOT have the yellow !.
any help would be greatly appreciated.
