I have used many System and Tweaking Utilities on my PC, for some reason, I guess on accident, I did something that DISABLED my Start Up Picture. The Shutdown Picture is still functioning. Now, when ever I start or reboot my PC, I get the “Starting Windows 98…” messege. What can I do to disable this messege so that my Start Up Pic can work again? My OS is Win98SE, Compaq Presario 5000. Any comments or instructions will be greatly appreciated !!! ASAP !!!
For reference, the Start up/Shutdown screens are part of a theme I have. They have always worked, until recently. I know I didn’t delete any part of the App. They run independantly, like I said they Shutdown Screen still works. So why won’t the Start Up screen work?
