I’ve never seen this problem before. A user running Windows NT 4.0 and Office 2000. The problem is with Outlook 2000 and email. The user is receiving email OK from everyone in the office, but the problem seems to be eamils from Netscape users. I tested this, I had a user send an email from within Netscape to the user and myself to find out that I received the message OK with subject, body and From and To info in place. But the user only received the body. No subject, To or From. The problem started when a Unix user tried sending an email this user. At first I was thinking the problem is on the Unix side but after I tested this with a regular PC user, I think not.
I have tried typing many phrases into Microsoft Knowledge base but coulnotfind anything close to the problem. Is there something in Outlook 2000 itself that I can configure, or is there an option regarding Netscape that I’m missing.
Actions: Today I uninstall and reinstall MS Office 2000 including SR-1 and SR-2 and NT SP6a.
Please let me know of any suggestions. I hope this is not confusing.
