No use of the Insert key in Word!

by tcstech . Updated 24 years, 6 months ago

I’ve reformatted and reinstalled 95b. I’ve reinstalled Office 97 Pro. The user does not have use of the Insert key function in Word. The user DOES HAVE use of the Insert key function in Excel. Don’t tell me to change the kybd. Done that. Don’t tell me to go to Tools>Options>Edit and check mark the Overtype mode box. The Insert key is supposed to do that. Don’t tell me to dbl clk the OVR box at the bottom of the document, the Insert key is supposed to do that. Tell me how to get the Insert key to work just by pressing it once to get the overtype mode to work and pressing it again to get the Insert mode to work. Thank You.
