I have a PC that will not make it through POST. Whe the PC was up and running-the video displayed wavy-irregular lines. Thinking it was the onboard video that was shot, I put in a PCI video card. The FLEX ATX m-board did not have jumpers to disable the video controller that is on board. I am assuming that it would just pick up the PCI PnP Video card. Now, neither the PCI video card nor the onboard video card work. I have systematically troubleshooted this thing down to the power supply. You name it and I think I have done it. I even used a POST diagnostics card. The output from this card has not been consistent. I get POST codes of many different numbers/letters. The card is made by DMAN. Any help with this card or the sytem would be greatly appreciated. Would a BIOS chip that is nearing death, cause a video display that is not perfect?(And I did check for Electronic disturbance, even replaced monitor) Also-Is it possible on some motherboards, that with onboard video and no jumpers todisable it-once the video goes the whole mboard is shot-like on a FLEX ATX board?
