I just replaced a faulty motherboard with a brand new SOYO SY-5EMA Pro motherboard. Plugged everything up, set all my jumpers and dip switches as a appropriate for my bus and my frequency. Now I turn it on – no video signal at all. Mind you the components (memory, video card, drives, etc) are good and working – they work on another system.
I went back and verified I had the correct jumper settings and the correct memory settings as well as my DIMM being in the correct bank. Everything checks out with the manual that came with the mobo. I don’t understand why the video is not working.
All connections are tight as well..that was the first thing I did when the video didn’t work.
I hope this board isn’t bad too, I have an employee waiting on this computer already.
Any help is much appreciated.
