I have been on tech for over two months and nobody has given me the info that I need to turn on the monitor in my settings. I call hew packard and they say my machine is two old for telephone support, and I don,t hear from microsoft! It has windows 2000 XP home and I turn off the monitor in my settings and it goes blank after boot to win. XP and I cannot see to turn it back on and I have booted in safe mode with the vga enable and it still doew the same. I would like to know how to turn it back on , or where to hookup another monitor in another place where i can see, so I can go turn it back on, If I install another hard drive will it cure the problem? Help!!!!
