No yahoo for me!

Hi guys quick question incase anybody knows I have fresh install winxp pro completely updated through winupdate, eveythings fine but Yahoo launch, i have 2mbs cable internet my girlfriend likes to watch music videos on yahoo launch but every time try and watch video IE becomes unresponsive “freezes” no video hear music sometimes, have tried everything from turning off firewall to changing media player network settings to yahoo’s reccomendations (just http), media player works when other sites accessed, realplayer works on all its sites, yahoo has best selection of videos, but doesnt frickin work, used to work fine before the xp install, any ideas?
