My Desktop is connected to the network, and my PC is on WIN-XP Prof. My HDD is partitioned into ‘C’,’D’ & ‘E’ drive and there is a ‘F’ drive for the DVD Writer. The ‘D’ Drive of the Server is mapped as ‘G’ Drive for one particular s/w.
When I insert the Pen drive in the USB port of my PC, the Removable media is not displayed and I cannot see it. There is neither a popup of ‘New Device found’. But,if I Disconnect the mapped ‘G’ drive, and then connect the Pen drive into the USB port, I can see the Removable media in the ‘G’ drive.
Can somebody tell how can I access the pendrive without disconnecting my mapping ?
