nonsystem disk error

My PC refuses to reboot, message on screen reads non system disk error change disk and restart

Remove floppy disk?

Not sure if you are working on the system or if it just stopped booting on you.

Check to insure the jumper setting on the hard drive(s) is correct and that all connector cables are in place in the system.

If the above is not the case, you may need to install the OS in the way it won't lose your files.

r u using any antivirus software.if u r usuing antivirus software many anti virus software scan flopy when pc restart .u r not mention which os u r using ?in win 98 there is one option scan flpoy drive when pc restart .
