I am fixing a monitor that starts out dim on one side and bright on the other. After about 2 hours the other side becomes just as bright as the rest of the monitor. I have never seen this before and I have been looking for troubleshooting and repair tips everywhere and I see none. I know that since it does not start off bright and get dim that it is unlikely that the inverter is the problem but I figure that the backlight is giving out. Does anyone know if this is even cost effective to fix, or has any repair tips for it?
