I just got a new customer who fired their old consultant because of ineptitude and communication problems. He had installed Norton Corp. Small Business on their server and will not provide the password to get in and look at the config of the software on the server. (When you click on the Norton yellow shield, it asks for a password). I’ve tried all the obvious (symantec, SYMANTEC, blank, the server password, etc., etc.) and can’t get past it. Symantec has no info in their knowledge-base which I can understand for security purposes, but I really need past this password. Can’t find the original software to even know what version it is! Anyone know how to get past the Norton password? I may just end up uninstalling (if it’ll let me without the password!!) and the poor customers will have to purchase it again. Thanks!
