Norton Ghost 2000,2001,or2002 Question

I would like to clone my hard drive(drive a) to another drive(drive b) using Norton Ghost 2000. If I needed to use my hard drive(drive a) for what ever reason would I still be able to do this even though I cloned it to another drive(drive b)?

Once the drive are properly slaved, would I simply run ghost.exe and select the option “local”, “disk”, “disk”. In other words copy the contents from one disk to another. The final results would I have two identical hard drives doing the same thing. Just want to make sure I am being understood. Thanks for the guidance.
