Norton Ghost 2003 Drive mapping disk

I am trying to create a drive mapping boot disk in Norton 2003 using a 3com 3C905C NIC. I hard coded the IP, Gateway, DNS. I can ping the IP from another machine and get a response, but for some reason I keep getting an error that says, “Error 1 internal error occured”. I did a step by step confirmation and it seems to be happening right after the “net start” command. Could this be a problem with my boot disk or is their something on the domain server that needs to be changed.
