Norton Ghost 8.0 and Windows Server 2003 SP2

I have used the ghost software many times to image the servers with windows server 2003 SP2. I use sysprep to create the image on my server, and I am using an external hard drive to put the image too. I have figured out through trial and error that I needed to format the external hard drive to FAT32. I can now see the external drive when Ghost boots up from the CD reader, however after that it gets hung and does not progress to the rest of the process. If I cancel out of the program and type >ghost -forceusb, the program sees a drive but it’s not the drive it’s supposed to be, and progresses but fails. Are there other files I need on the external hard drive in addition to the FAT32 format to make this work?
