norton ghost says “not enough diskspace”

by icelemon . Updated 15 years, 9 months ago

hi, why when i use norton ghost to restore a partition (c drive), it says “not enough disk space on the targetting drive” while it is on the same partition with same size when creating the .gho file

these are my steps:
computer start > entering windows > launch norton ghost restore wizard > import the .gho in the wizard > reboot computer > finishing the 3 seconds ghost launch confirmation screen > entering the DOS ghost (dark-blue screen)

then it exits back to the PC-DOS black screen says “not enough disk space on the targetting drive”

so here are the details:
target partition (c drive) = 4.8GB
compressed .gho file = ~2.5GB

i have not changed the partition size or anything, and it is the same drive on a same partition.

the problem is i can’t restore previous .gho’s anymore, why?
