Hi
I have Norton Systemworks 2004 installed, and fully updated. I decided that I wanted to make an image of one of my computers. The source of the image was c: and I was going to save the image onto another computer.
In order to do this I mapped the destination computer’s drive as drive z: on the source machine. This is my first time I tried to use this software so I did not change any settings.
After making these selections Norton said that it would reboot the computer into DOS and start the job. Well it told the machine to reboot, and this happened….
Searching for boot record from IDE-0..OK
Boot Failure
That?s it, it just stops and looks at me 🙁 I also own Partition Magic 8. I used its rescue disks and it said “Partition table error #113 found”. It does not provide me with any suggestions as to how to sort this out.
I know that the data is still there, nothing has written to the HDD for any period of time. I?m sure that its just some sort of configuration error, only I have no idea how to sort it out.
