Hi,I would appreciate it very much if someone can please help me with this problem. Im not sure if it’s related to any OS, but I have win 2000,sp3,2 pcs with SBC DSL,2Wire Modem, and a Netgear router. Everytime I try to log into my yahoo e-mail, thesearch bar at the bottom does not move. It gets less than 1/4 of the way and stays there, or 10 mins, and then the next page says: “page can not be displayed.” Im on a private ip..192.168.0.0..All my connection is fine, cookies are enabled, yet other e-mail accounts like hotmail I get get into. My ZoneAlarm firewall let the basics go through. Someone mention to me to try clearing any entry with yahoo..127.0.0.1 in the HOST file of winnt\sys32, but that didnt work either. My DHCP is dynamic, I have checked ipconfig..reformat the hard drive, disabled my antivirus, and things like that. Now Im at a total lost. did I set up my DSL network correctly? pls help me..Im desperate. Thank You.
