I have a linksys wireless G router which has been giving me some headaches since i’ve configured it following some steps i saw online either in this forum or google several months ago.
After configuring it then i usually pick up the network signal but when i connect using my acer laptop(vista),it doesn’t connect. I also tried using some other laptops around but the same connection problem. But when i connect through a cable the connection becomes successful. This didn’t solve my problem since i needed the wireless functionality.
After several trials changing config here and there rebooting computer, rebooting router, i finally got fed up with it and i thought of taking back to the initial config when i got it and start all over again. I then pressed the tiny reset botton at the front of the router, afterwards till now, i am unable to access the config page with the usual ip 192.168.1.1. and this is even more frustrating.
Please how to i solve this problem?
