The machine can dial up, but not view. I have replace DUN, protocols, reinstalled W98, reinstalled browser. It’s got a strange IP when I print the route. I tried manually installing the gateway for tcp/ip but it still will not view. I work at a ISP and we’ve seen this frequently as of late. The only way we’ve been able to fix it is to format and start fresh. I’ve disabled everything in start up. It’s not a very good practice for us to format computers, so if anybody has any suggestions please let me know. It’s happened on different brand machines w/ different OS’s and I forgot to mention that it will not telnet either. I also tried typing in the actual IP instead of the www address and it still doesn’t work. Thank you and God Bless!
