I support a restaurant POS system on a PC running Win NT 4.0. Keep getting a Windows Application error message “not enough space for environment” even though both partitions of the hard drive have around 4GB left each. Three operational programs arerunning and minimized at all times, however we are running older and slower models the same way and are not having a problem. The only difference between the newer model systems is that partition c:\ runs FAT and d:\ runs NTFS file system. Also newer models have FIT Client software installed. Any suggestions as to why getting a false message?
