    Not enought server storage

    When I start SERVER service I get message:
    “Not enought server storage”

    BUT!!!

    I have 17G free on the 1st HDD and 20G at the socond?

    What that is mean? And how to fix it?

      What most likely happend, is that you did changes in the network configuration, causing NT to import non servicepacked files.
      Therefor after each Network change, reapply the service pack that you are on.

      Just a suggestion, try running your service pack. That is if you haven’t tried it yet.

      I have run across this error when installing hardware and software combinations with older drivers being shipped with the software.

      So far, running service pack has solved the problem.

      If this doesn’t solve your problem, please provide information regarding any upgrades you have made recently.

      Agree with all three prior answers. There is actually a knowlege base / technet article on this (don’t have access right this minute). Your error number is 1130, ain’t it? If I recall correctly, the problem file is “server.sys” – not sure there.But the cause of the problem is installing (or changing) networking components after you already applied a service pack(first noticed with SP3). So, as our esteemed colleagues indicated: Just reapply the latest service pack anytime you make any changes.
