Notify when copy is complete
One of the machines on my network is a Dell 486DX running Windows for Workgroups 3.11. OK, now everyone has stopped laughing, my problem is this...
When I copy files from the old machine (almost 11 years old!!!), to my nice new WinXP Pro machine it takes an age. I don't really have a problem with this except that while the files are being copied I usually work with something else. This means that I often forget to check how far the copy procedure has gone, and can end up 'wasting' several minutes which could be used preparing and starting the next copy job.
Now, what I want to know, is there a little utility that will notify me when the copy procedure is complete? Even if the appropriate taskbar icon could flash when the copy has finished would be great, rather than a full bells and whistles application that sends administrative alerts etc...
Hope someone out can help me...
