Novell 3.12 and Windows 98

By gredona ·
We're using Novell 3.12 on file server and some computer have Windows 95 and Windows 98 OS. My problem starts when i want to share my resources, it says "You cannot view the list of users at this time. Please try again later".
Upon checking network properties, it says that i have the right server name.
Pls enlighten this issue.

Thank you.
GERARD

Have a look at Microsoft TID Q177607 regarding either missing mapi32.dll or screwed up registry setting with Outlook Express as your default MAPI client

You should run novell client 32 for ipx/spx bindery connection to your Novell 3.12 server.
For sharing resources on win9x clients you should set up TCP/IP network (client for microsoft networks) and bind TCP/IP protocol to your network card along with IPX/SPX protocol. It is easier to share printers on Novell network than sharing printers on TCP/IP (microsoft client)
