Novell: Bindery log-in

By Roc77 ·
We have some people needing to access our network through a bindery log-in through Novell. On many of these stations, it is easy enough (force bindery, and map to the IP address and volume). On some of these after setting force bindery, it reverts to the OFF switch.

Does anyone know how to maintain the switch to ON so that the bindery can be forced?

Set the bindery context to a specific context in your tree. Setup your login script in that container to do whatever you need it to. Move the bindery users into that container.

Now whenever the users login to the bindery they will be processed automatically.

Or do you mean you have a workstaion that you need to sometimes login to bindery and other times login to the tree?

The bindery is set on the server (let's call it "IT Outpost") ... but when we go to the workstation and map it, and set "FORCE BINDERY" to on ... it shortly thereafter changes back to off. Is there a way to keep this switched to on? What is causingthis problem?
