November 4th Prediction (edited)

by maxwell edison . Updated 17 years, 8 months ago

Edited because I forgot to count all the states. (Don’t ask me how!)

John McCain will defeat Barack Obama by a comfortable margin, and he will become the 44th President of the United States.

The best case scenario for Barack Obama will see him winning the following states:

California (55)
Connecticut (7)
D.C. (3)
Delaware (3)
Hawaii (4)
Illinois (21)
Iowa (7)
Maine (4)
Maryland (10)
Massachusetts (12)
Michigan (17)
Minnesota (10)
New Hampshire (4)*
New Jersey (15)
New Mexico (5)*
New York (31)
Oregon (7)
Pennsylvania (21)*
Rhode Island (4)
Vermont (3)
Virginia (13)*
Washington (11)
Wisconsin (10)

Best Case Scenario: 277 Electoral votes for Obama (and he would win)

* Indicates the states that could go either way.

Worst Case Scenario: 234 Electoral votes for Obama, if all four * go to McCain, (and he would lose).

Personal prediction: Throw New Hampshire, New Mexico, and Virginia into the McCain column:

John McCain: 283
Barack Obama: 255
