Fema and DHS wil conduct a national test of the Emergency Alert System on 11/9 at 2 pm. This will affect all broadcast and satellite radio and TV as well as cable. Given that this will happen in the middle of a Wednesday afternoon for 3 1/2 min., how do you think IT will be affected?
This will be the first time this has ever been done on a national scale, and I don’t think it is getting the publicity it needs. Also, if it is a test, why not a Saturday at midnight? Why in the middle of a work week?
