NPA\NXX Research

By phone_techie ·
I am doing some research into ISP NPA\NXX as well as internet numbers for billing purposes. I started my research at www.fcc.gov/cib/ and was informed of several modem switching scams. I was wondering if anyone has anymore information to add onto this.

As well, I am trying to research modems, switches, and other hardware that would be capable of breaking calling card codes. I have recently had my calling card hacked and the originating numbers were connected to hardware of some sort. If there are machines that can do this, I would like to know how to protect myself, as well as others from these attacks. It is strange that the originators on my calling card just used my card to call hundreds of numbers not using any visible patterns, andeach call lasting no longer than a min.
