NT 4 and Share Drives?

We have a WINNT 4.0 workstation pc that was setup without sharing for it’s drives. There is no share option under properties for the drive. It has service pack 4. What can we do to get the share option? I have been told we have to totally reinstall NT. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
