Is there a easy method to determine the server role (BDC,PDC,MS) from the command line ?

i have not looked for a command line way to do it, but using the Server Manager under Administrative Tools, will tell you the role of every server/workstation.

srvmgr.exe in cmd..

By quering it's netbios name registrered under Wins, you will determine if 0CH=PDC, 1CH=BDC, ANY_other_value=Servers or wks
