I have an NT 4 server (server A) that is a PDC (in area 1). I have a brand new server to replace server A (new server is server B). I will be adding two more servers (server C and D) that will be going to area 2. Server A will be going to area 3 when all is said and done. Server A will remain NT 4, while servers B, C, and D will be 2000.
Here is the question. How do I successfully get Server B to become the primary server (transferring files from A to B, user accounts, etc.). Server C and D will be connected to A via WAN, so should I connect them to each other first before I take them to the new area?
This is my first step in to Windows 2000 and any help would be greatly appreciated.
