NT 4.0 Server and partioning

By mark ·
I am setting up a NT 4.0 Server on a PII using a 10GB SCSI drive and can't get the partion larger than 2GB each. I've updated the BIOS of the system and this BIOS update is suppose to support HDD's up to 32GB. I've tried an IDE HDD and it act the same. Doesn't NT 4.0 Server support partions larger than 2GB? And if so are there any tricks to getting the partion larger.

Thanks

FAT partitions cannot be larger than 2047mb...(2 gig) After installing NT 4.0 you can use Disk Administrator to create logical drives within an extended partiton, and if you format these as NTFS they can be larger than 2gb. Good luck.
