NT/Active Directory user authenication.

By rgajjar ·
Hi all, after some technical advice.

Windows setup :

Windows 2003 active directory domain and NT domain in 2 way trust.

Client is a NT workstation in the NT domain, he is logging onto his Active Directory account and going through the trust.

However it doesn't seem to be authenicating with the local active directory domain controller and going to the one at the data center.

I suspect the problem is to do with WINS, i noticed the static 1C record listed the active directory domain name and contains all the ip addresses for the domain controllers but didn't have an entry for the local domain controller. Would this have any bearing on this problem? Do i need to add the ip address for the local DC to the IC Wins record? Thanks all.
