NT Administrator Password

Does anybody know ways or cracks to change forgotten administrative passwords, in NT Server. So that is getting in
and changing the password or at least creating a new
administrative account.Topic is locked -

The best way is to go to http://www.l0pht.com/ (note that’s a zero not an o) Then down load their password cracking program.

or, if you don’t care what the password is, you canreset it using ERDCommander from http://www.sysinternals .com

if you can access the NT dir from a floppy disk(if it’s FAT) or from another network computer or WINNT installed in another directory, just rename the file “logon.scr” to cmd.exe . restart your computer and DO NOT touch the KB/MOUSE for atl least 15minutes.
the screan saver will be “CMD prompt” !!!
type in the command line “usermgr”
and reset/change what ever you want-

I have some Unix commands ported to
Unix. One of these is called chuser. This
will allow you to do exactly what you want
as long as you have administrative rights
to the box. Email me if you would like the

1.emergency boot disk
2.Winnt\Repair directory
3Backup tapes without password locking

You could always logon as someone with administrative privileges and just change the password through UserManager
