NT and EMS (Expanded memory)

by tore . Updated 24 years, 10 months ago

I’m having some huge problems with an application called Symphony (Lotus). It’s and dos app. that requires little conventional memory (no problems there). The trouble is, the app. needs a EMS to be able to load (larger) files. 1024 kbytes would be enough!! No matter how I configure the pif-file (shortcut), the app. reports none bytes avaliable EMS memory. I have also tried adding the following line to config.nt: EMM=RAM.

Does anyone know who to do this so that my app. get the memory (EMS) that it need? Or does anyone know of a memory manager that works with NT-TS.

Almost forgot: Some specs: IBM Netfinity server 6000, Windows NT terminalserver, SP6, 2 GB of RAM. Thx
