NT AUTHORITY SYSTEM

By rilisgomez ·
I have a sony vaio lap top that starts up and then it automatically goes into a shutdown giving me the following error "program error C:\windows\system32\services.exe status code 128 system will shutdown initiated by NT AUTHORITY.SYSTEM". Also the system will come up in safe mode. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
p.s. are the following part of the o/s or are they
foreign programs; "axwin, msbb, wo, 180ax, Jrx".
thanks

It sounds like you have an issue with Adware/Malware/Viruses. I would run a full system scan with the virus scanner of your choice (grisoft.com offers a nice program for free)and I would also scan for Adware/Malware using a program like Adaware(www.lavasoft.com). I couldn't find two of programs you listed, but below are descriptions I got from liutilities.com of the ones that I did find and needless to say they are foreign.
*msbb.exe is an advertising program by 180 Solutions. This process monitors your browsing habits and distributes the data back to the author's servers for analysis. This also prompts advertising popups. This program is a registered security risk and should be removed immediately. Please see additional details regarding this process
* wo.exe is an application from Ezula which adds an extra button onto your Explorer bar for searching. This process monitors your browsing habits and distributes the data back to the author's servers for analysis. This also prompts advertising popups. This program is a registered security risk and should be removed immediately. Please see additional details regarding this process
* 180ax.exe is registered as the TROJ.ISTZONE.H downloader. This process usually comes bundled with a virus and it?s main role is to do nothing other than download other viruses to your computer. It is a registered security risk and should be removed immediately. Please see additional details regarding this process

GOOD LUCK!!!!
