NT can FTP 2000 cannot.

By jmorris ·
We bought several new computers for selected clients and have run into a certain problem. The old NT workstations dial up to a server for FTP operations. They dial a direct number and once attached could go to the Command Prompt and start there FTP session form there. Now in 2000 pro they cannot go to the command prompt. FTP will not work. What am I doiong wrong?

In my copy of Win 2000

by James R Linn In reply to NT can FTP 2000 cannot.

The FTP command is there, in the WinNT\system32 directory.

Could the problem be a difference in the path structure?

Maybe its easier to make a shortcut for the FTP command instead of launching a DOS window.

Did you try loading a command interpreter with your batch file?
